Escape Game FAQ’s

What is the Hell In A Cell horror escape game experience?

You have been kidnapped by the deranged serial killer Pig Face... He is a disturbed, simple deviant with a harrowing distaste for the outside world. He has used the skin of previous victims to sculpt a mask that he wears.

You’ve been incapacitated and imprisoned in the terrifying underground prison cells he lives in. We suggest you work out how to get out before he comes back for you…

How long does Hell In A Cell last?

You’ll be on the Hell In A Cell site for up to an hour and a half.

You’ll have an hour to make your escape once the experience goes live.

Is there an age limit?

Due to the nature and content of Hell In A Cell, we recommend that players are over 15 years of age.

However, if you are 13 or over and feeling brave, we will allow you to participate as a private group. But, please note that you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can look out for you.

Is Hell In A Cell scary?

Yes, Hell In A Cell is a horror escape room!

You will be entering the set of a horror escape film. The environment is intimidating, tense and deliberately dramatic.

Think about the movies Saw, Hostel & Texas Chainsaw Massacre... Hopefully, this will give you an idea of what to expect!

What if I don’t like it and want to come out?

You’re lucky then, as this isn’t for real…

If you can’t handle it at ANY point during the experience you will be able to communicate immediately with the event manager and leave the experience.

Your friends should be able to stay, but you won’t be able to return.

Can we have more than 10 players?

We can take more (we’ve had 15 play before and love it), but we’re keen to not dilute the experience.

Please call us on 07811 181278 if there are more than 10 of you that want to experience Hell In A Cell.

Will it just be our group or will we be mixed with others?

For groups of 6 or less, you may have another small group join you (to a maximum of 10 altogether).

If you want an exclusive game please let us know in advance, as we may be able to accommodate this.

Alternatively, book for a minimum of 7 players online to ensure you can enjoy an exclusive escape game.

Can I have a few drinks before?

We will not allow you to play if drunk or high. If you turn up and are intoxicated, you will not be allowed to participate and will not be refunded.

It’s dark down there and can be disorientating. Being drunk or intoxicated on drink and/or drugs does not mix well with the environment and strictly not permitted.

What time do I need to arrive before our start time?

Plan to arrive at least 5 minutes before your escape game starts to allow for any delays you may incur.

Say you book for 6pm, our Event Manager will be there at promptly at 6pm, ready to deliver the briefing.

We operate a slick operation and are strict on time keeping.

If I’m running late, will you wait for me?

We are very sorry, but No...

We have a schedule to stick to and if we over-ran, we’d then have to push back the next game. (If there’s no one booked in after then possibly).

We cannot allow you to enter the experience midway, as it would disrupt those already involved.

No refunds will be offered for latecomers or No Shows.

What should I wear?

Not your Sunday Best...

Loose fitting, relaxed fit clothes are best for ease of movement. It’s a bit grubby down there, so you may at times get a little dirty or dusty, but don’t worry you will not be covered in gunge or anything sinister.

Can I take photos?

You will have plenty of opportunity at the beginning and end of the experience to take some great photos, but not whilst in the game environment.

You will be required to hand in your mobile phone and all other belongings at the briefing before your escape game experience starts.

What happens if we don’t escape?

We suggest you let your friends, family and work colleagues know where you’re going so that they can make the necessary arrangements, just in case you don’t return...

What happens if we escape?

Then you are still alive, good for you...

Maybe you will appreciate life a bit more now.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes – If you want a refund, or to re-schedule, you must request this 4 weeks or 28 days before your escape game date.

Anything outside of these terms, we can not accommodate - sorry.

However, should the unexpected happen you are welcome to transfer your tickets to others.

Anything else we should know?

To get the best out of your escape game experience, immerse yourself. Allow yourself to believe in where you are, what is going to happen and what you need to do to escape.

Remember this is a ‘Horror Escape Experience”, we are not here to terrify you into a quivering wreck. It will be tense, jumpy and exhilarating at times, but you will leave with big smiles and lots to talk about after.
